2022 Community Health Needs Assessment for the Genesee County/City of Flint Community

The 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) for Flint and Genesee County has been completed by the Greater Flint Health Coalition, Genesee County’s three hospital systems (Ascension Genesys Hospital, Hurley Medical Center, and McLaren Flint), and the Genesee County Health Department. The 2022 CHNA identifies and prioritizes significant health needs of Flint & Genesee County residents and will inform a series of developing implementation strategies over the next three years. The CHNA provides an important opportunity for hospitals, local government, business, nonprofits, foundations, and the community at-large to improve the health of residents through collaborative initiatives, expanded community benefit programming, and enhanced coordination.
