Cost and Resource Planning Committee
The Cost & Resource Planning Committee will serve as a committee of the Board with designated leadership representing the region’s healthcare executive leadership. The Committee is charged with the following outcomes:
1) Establish the strategic direction of the Greater Flint Health Coalition’s activities specific to healthcare sector collaboration and impact.
2) Provide executive leadership to shared hospital and health plan initiatives that will achieve better care for individuals, better health for populations served, and lower per-capita costs.
3) Monitor aggregate community healthcare utilization (by type and payer) and outmigration trends (by type and payer) to inform collective efforts to increase provider capacity, improve access and service delivery, and reduce cost.
4) Designate Greater Flint Health Coalition’s Quality & Innovation Task Force’s priority collaborative activities on a basis to occur no less than biennial.
5) Serve as monitoring body for Greater Flint Health Coalition Committee and Task Force activities.
6) Direct the data collection and analysis timeline and resources of the Data Review Subcommittee and the Community Health Needs Assessment Subcommittee.
