Community Symposium on Human Trafficking

You are cordially invited to attend a Community Symposium on Human Trafficking to increase awareness and reduce risk. The Symposium will be held at the Flint Institute of Arts in the Isabel Hall. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of what trafficking is and how to identify trafficked individuals as well as what the community is doing to assist trafficked individuals. Panels will include local, state, and federal experts representing government, social services, judicial system, healthcare, law enforcement, and educators as well as the Genesee County Human Trafficking Task Force.
 
The Community Symposium on Human Trafficking is sponsored by the Genesee County Medical Society along with the Genesee County Medical Society Alliance, Greater Flint Health Coalition, Genesee County Human Trafficking Task Force, Genesee County Osteopathic Association, and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. This symposium will be presented free of charge and all members of the community are encouraged to attend. A continental breakfast and buffet lunch will be provided.
