Community organizations want to hear from you! Please take a survey about health issues in Genesee County

Genesys Health System, Hurley Medical Center and McLaren Flint, working in partnership with Greater Flint Health Coalition, are conducting a community survey as part of their Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) process.

Results from this survey will help:

  • identify and prioritize current and future health care needs in our community
  • increase community awareness of local and regional health issues
  • determine trends in demographics related to health care
  • improve and strengthen community programs and services

Genesee County residents are encouraged to complete this anonymous survey. It will take less than five minutes to complete.

Last day to complete the survey is Monday, March 7.

If you would like a hard copy of the survey, or if you have questions about it, please call 810.606.5760.

Your input is very valuable in helping shape the future of health care in Genesee County.

A CHNA hospital subgroup meets regularly to discuss the health and wellness needs of the county, evaluate current programs and their success, review data about the health of residents, and make recommendations for improvements or new services. Some projects underway include: Project Healthy Schools, Genesee County Children’s Healthcare Access Program (CHAP), Advance Care Planning and Commit to Fit.
